EPW - Continental verge fusee two-figure quarter repeating automaton, the two figures striking on bells being a hunter and his mate, 55mm, 18K rose gold OF original case with spring-loaded gilt cuvette, KWKS, hand painted WED with garlands beneath multicolor appliqués and figures, verge escapement, gilt mvt with pierced and foliate scrolled two-footed balance bridge, s#3876 within case-back. Gross weight of assembled watch 82.1 dwt (127.7 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, chain off barrel, broken staff, excellent mvt condition overall; good repeat function and tone; dial with minor hls and crack, complete figures; original hands in near mint blue; case shows little wear, many MFS, some dents or dings in band; bow and pendant original, showing little wear; good domed glass crystal.
